NEET Exam Preparation – National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts National Eligibility cum Entr

ance Test (NEET) for the admission into the courses like MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BAMS etc. By qualifying NEET, the qualified candidates can take admission in the approved / recognized Medical / Dental and other colleges in India including the institutions like AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

  • The official notification for admissions through NEET has been released on December. The application form of NEET is available online.
  • The last date to submit the application form will be December.
  • NEET  admit card will be released on March, and will be available for download online.

NEET Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as per related Regulations is as follows: -

  1. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Courses .
  2. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD Candidates.
  3. Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG).
  4. Provided also that to be eligible for NEET (UG). the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination

NEET Exam Pattern

It is essential to check the exam pattern before starting with the preparation as that helps the candidates to prepare a good study plan for the exam. Candidates who wish to score well in NEET must be well versed with the exam pattern of NEET. Details such as mode of the examination, medium, marking scheme and the duration of the examination will be covered under the NEET exam pattern.
